Class A is a COMPLETE BSA approved scout uniform. This includes shirt, pants/shorts, neckerchief, socks, belt, optional hat.
Class B is BSA/scout theme T shirt and plain beige/green pants or shorts. NO Logo hats, shirts, sweats etc. No blue jeans.
Please remember, In Troop 215, the Uniform is required, important and it counts towards Spirit. All meetings are Class A Uniform: Shirt, properly sewn, Neckerchief and Slide, Scout Pants* and Belt, Scout Socks and Shoes ( hiking boots or leather shoes).
Please make sure your scout is properly outfitted before attending. It is not our intent to find or seek exceptions and penalties, but instead, to instill the pride and spirit to encourage dress that says we are a high caliber scouting unit. Your endorsement, encouragement and support is requested. Be Prepared.
*Scout pants are the official BSA scouting trousers whether long, short or the new convertible zipper style.
We have tried "khakis" but found this was broadly interpreted and varied from white to brown and in some instances became sport uniforms, ragged cargo pants and nylon gym shorts.
FYI - crocks are not a part of the uniform.
Note: if your scout has outgrown but not worn out any uniform part, please bring it, clean, to the scout meeting. We regularly are seeing some fine "exchanging" taking place.
